- Anyone who wants to see Emma Corrin and Harriet Walter on stage together.
- People who like a family drama built on two accounts of the same death.
What's Suddenly Last Summer About?
Violet Venable's son Sebastian died last summer, and she is determined to protect his name. Her niece Catharine was with him, and she tells a different story about what happened.
When Catharine's memories are called into question, a young doctor, Cukrowicz, has to decide which of the two women to believe. Williams wrote it in the 1950s, and it was made into the 1959 film starring Elizabeth Taylor and Katharine Hepburn. This is a new stage production.
