Dishoom Carnaby (8 to 9 minutes). 22 Kingly Street. Bombay-style, reliably excellent. You can't book and the queues always look long, but they sit you quickly, so don't be put off by the queue.

O'Neill's (2 to 3 minutes). 33-37 Wardour Street. Save this one for afterwards. It's lively and it's the closest pub to the theatre, which makes it the natural place to end up.

The Lyric (4 minutes). 37 Great Windmill Street. A proper pub with up to ten cask ales on, and the one to pick if you'd rather have a decent pint than a big night.
Bar Américain at Brasserie Zédel (5 minutes). 20 Sherwood Street. An Art Deco cocktail bar down the stairs from Piccadilly Circus, in the same building as the brasserie and the Crazy Coqs cabaret. The right answer for a proper drink before a show, and cheaper than a place like that suggests.
