Restaurants, Bars and Hotels Near the Capital Theatre

Opening soon: Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage From £102 Book tickets

The theatre is inside Westfield London, so the restaurants, the bars, the cinema, the bowling and the mini golf are all within a few minutes of your seat, with the car park underneath.

Book your table on a Saturday, when the centre is at its busiest, and leave time to walk from the restaurant to the theatre.

Eat before the show

Sticks'n'Sushi, on the Southern Terrace. Danish-Japanese, sushi and yakitori off the same menu, and it is the pick if you want a proper dinner rather than something quick. The Southern Terrace runs towards the Shepherd's Bush stations, so it also works if you are heading straight for a train afterwards.

Ichiba, inside the centre. A large Japanese food hall with a street-food counter, a bar and a supermarket attached. The one to choose when nobody in the group can agree.

Shikumen, in the Dorsett Shepherds Bush next to the centre. Dim sum away from the shops, and the one to book if you want a sit-down dinner to make an occasion of it.

Drink

The Bull, on the Southern Terrace. A two-floor pub with a mezzanine, cask ales, craft beer and a full cocktail list. A proper pub, and the easy choice for a pint before the show.

All Star Lanes, inside the centre. A 1950s-styled bowling alley with a proper bar in it, open later than the shops, and a good one after an early show when you want somewhere to go rather than somewhere to eat.

Puttshack, White City. Mini golf, a bar and a kitchen in the same place, and loud. The easiest of these three to take a group to.

Make a day of it

Under the same roof as the auditorium there is a Vue cinema, All Star Lanes for bowling, Puttshack for mini golf and City Bouldering for climbing. Exhibition London, a 17,000 square foot music and events venue, is part of the same development.

So a family or a group can bowl, eat, see the show and catch a late film without moving the car.

Stay

The Hoxton Shepherd's Bush. The design-led one, with a lobby that runs as a bar and all-day dining, and the pick if the trip is the occasion.

Dorsett Shepherds Bush. Four-star, next to the centre, with its own restaurant and bar downstairs.

ibis London Shepherds Bush - Hammersmith. Compact rooms at a sensible price, and the one to book if you would rather spend the money on the tickets.
