Boxes at the Peacock Theatre

There are four small Boxes, two on each side wall between the stage and the front of the Dress Circle. Boxes AL and AR have three chairs each and sit in front of and slightly below Boxes BL and BR, which have four. For most people, the Stalls are the better buy.
What you see
Every Box looks at the stage from the side, so you're turned towards it all night and lose some of the far side of the stage. Boxes BL and BR, the higher and further back of each pair, have the better angle. The seats are movable chairs rather than fixed theatre seats, which makes them comfortable enough.
Is it worth the money?
For The Snowman, the Boxes are priced in the second-lowest band. For similar money you can sit at the back of the Stalls, facing the stage straight on, with the stepped rows lifting you over the heads in front. That's the seat we'd book.
Where a Box does make sense is with small children at The Snowman: you're close to the stage and the family is together in its own space, which makes keeping little ones settled easier.
Boxes FAQs
Does the Peacock Theatre have Boxes?
Yes, four: AL and AR with three seats each, and BL and BR with four, at the sides of the Dress Circle.
Are the Boxes worth it at the Peacock Theatre?
For a family with small children at The Snowman, they can be. For the view, no: it's side-on, and the back of the Stalls costs about the same and faces the stage.
