Boxes at the Aldwych Theatre
Sinatra The Musical
3 Jun 2026 - 10 Apr 2027
From £25
Short answer: for the view, no. Book the Stalls instead.
The Aldwych has Boxes at two levels, and they are restricted at both. Expect to lose a third to a half of the stage depending on which one you are in and where the action sits.
What you actually see
You are looking across the stage rather than at it. The near side of the stage disappears, and anything staged at the far edge is gone entirely. In a musical with a wide playing area, that is a lot of show.
What to book instead
At a similar price, the central Stalls around Rows B to H will give you a better evening. You lose the private space; you gain the whole stage. For most people that trade is not close.
If it is the sense of occasion you are after rather than the privacy, the front of the Dress Circle is the best view in the building and feels like an event in its own right.
When a Box IS the right answer
- An occasion where the privacy is the point: a proposal, a birthday where the party matters more than the sightline
- Where the access provision requires it. Boxes D and E are wheelchair positions. See access. Even then, the Dress Circle Row C positions are the better seats of the two options
- A show you already know well, where missing part of the staging costs you less
Before you book
Call us on 020 7193 9050 first. Boxes are often not on sale for a given show, and are sometimes held for sound and lighting equipment. We will tell you what is actually available on your date, and talk you out of it if we think you would be happier elsewhere.
