Ambassadors Theatre, London

London

The Ambassadors Theatre is one of the smallest theatres in the West End, tucked away on West Street by Seven Dials, with just 410 seats over two levels and a stage that feels close from every one of them. Paranormal Activity plays here until 2 January 2027. It's two or three minutes from Leicester Square station, next door to St Martin's Theatre.

Step-free access Accessible toilets

Still choosing seats? The middle of the Stalls, rows D to J, is where we'd sit. In a theatre this size there are no bad views as such, so the cheaper seats at the sides of the Stalls are well worth a look, and there's little point paying premium prices here.

Already booked? The Stalls are below street level, down a flight of stairs from the foyer, and the Circle is a few steps up. The bars are small, so order your interval drinks before the show. Big bags aren't allowed in. Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before, no later.

Each level has its own page: the Stalls and the Circle, with both side by side on the seating plan, and a page on the Box. After those come how to get here, access, bars and toilets, restaurants, bars and hotels nearby and more about the theatre.

What's On at the Ambassadors Theatre

Paranormal Activity plays here until Saturday 2 January 2027, back after its first run at the Ambassadors. The stage version of the film series is directed by Punchdrunk's Felix Barrett, and it's a genuinely scary night out.

Evenings are at 7:30pm Monday to Saturday, with 2:30pm matinees on Friday and Saturday, and there's no Sunday performance. Over Christmas the times change, with extra matinees and no performances on 25 and 26 December or 1 January, so check your date on the show page. It runs about 2 hours 20 minutes including the interval, and the theatre advises caution for anyone under 15.
