By car
There's no parking at the theatre. The nearest car parks:
- Q-Park Leicester Square, Whitcomb Street, about a minute away, open 24 hours
- Q-Park Chinatown, Newport Place, open 24 hours
Blue Badge holders have disabled bays on Rupert Street and Whitcomb Street, and Q-Park Chinatown has two disabled spaces. You can be dropped off on Coventry Street right by the main doors.
You're inside the Congestion Charge zone. It's £18 a day, running 7am to 6pm on weekdays and midday to 6pm at weekends and on bank holidays, so arrive after 6pm for an evening performance and you won't pay it, though a matinee falls inside it. ULEZ is a separate charge that runs at all hours, but at £12.50 it applies only to vehicles that don't meet the emissions standards, and most petrol cars from 2006 on and most diesels from 2015 on are compliant and pay nothing.
What time to arrive
Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before, no later. There are security and bag checks on the way in. The bars and foyers usually open 45 minutes before the show.
Latecomers are held until a suitable break in the performance, and getting in before then isn't guaranteed. No re-entry points are published for The Book of Mormon, so arrive late and you'll miss the opening number, and you could wait a while for your seat.
